THE POLITICAL SHAM IN KARNATAKA

The political drama unfolding in Karnataka is a matter of shame to any right thinking man.It is nauseating and it stinks. But it has no effect on the terrorists whom we call MLA's.While thousands of our own people have been displaced by the floods the terrorists remain closeted at five star hotels.I personally feel that the MLA's who have allowed themselves to be bought are the real threat to our democracy, indeed the political terrorists who have to be eliminated at any cost to cleanse the system.Mr Chidambaram should think of raising a crack force to achieve this instead of unleashing another round of police attrocities on adivasies in the name of fighting the naxalites.I know that my views are rather radical. But it is the view of thousands of people who remain disgusted with the system.Mr.Yediyurappa must fight the reddy goons rather than weep in public[Proverbial crocodile tears indeed]

The Naxalite problem in India

The naxalite movement has raised its head with a bang with the recent massacre of tribal and police men in Jharkhand. The incident brings to the fore the morale of the militants and the inefficiency of the administration. It must serve as a warning to other states too.The problem cannot be tackled with police. It is a serious socio-economic issue with great ramifications for the entire country.I would like to draw the attention of the politicians and the police to the ground reality of rampant corruption and the lack of accountability of the administration to the genuine needs of the common people. We have no faith in the system.Even educated people find it difficult to tackle the rot and they too are a part of it.We need to introspect at all levels and Act we must .
